Can I ride a Jet Ski without a license?
Yes! You don’t need a license to ride a Jet Ski. We provide a full briefing and basic training to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable ride.
What are the age restrictions?
You must be 16 years or older to operate a Jet Ski, if under 18 years you will require a parent or guardian to sign on your behalf. Passengers must be 8 years or older and if between 10-16 the driver must be 18+.
How many riders can ride at one time?
A maximum of two riders can ride at one time. You can however take it in turns and swap half way through.
Are there weight restrictions?
Yes. For safety reasons single riders may not exceed 130kg as they pose a risk to themselves and the staff at Townsville Jet Ski and Watercraft, as we do not have the capabilities of rescuing someone of that size. There is also a combined weight limit of 200kg.
Do I have to book online?
Most definitely not. Although if you want to secure the time you like, we recommend booking online. Otherwise give us a call to check availability.
Are the tours on the website the only tours you offer?
No! If you have a group function (work, bucks, hens, etc) give us a call to see what packages we can do for you.
